Vegetable Korma In Pressure Cooker recipe - How to make Vegetable Korma In Pressure Cooker

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 servings

Ingredients
4 tbsp oil
1 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
2 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
2 tsp chopped green chillies
1 tsp coriander (dhania) seeds powder
6 cashewnuts (kaju)
2 cups mixed chopped vegetables
salt to taste
1/2 cup milk
Method
    Method
  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add the cardamom powder and onions and saute till the onions turn translucent.
  2. Add the ginger paste, garlic paste, green chilli paste and cashewnut paste and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the coriander seeds powder and mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the vegetables, mix well and saute for 3 minutes.
  5. Add enough water, ,mix well and pressure cook for 2-3 whistles or till cooked.
  6. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
  7. Add the salt and milk and mix well and bring to boil.
  8. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve hot garnished with coriander.
