Vegetable Hot Dogs recipe - How to make Vegetable Hot Dogs

4 hot dog rolls
1 tomato, finely chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 large capsicum, chopped
2 potatoes, boiled and mashed
50 gms grated processed cheese
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tsp butter
salt to taste
butter for applying on rolls

  1. Slit open the rolls length -wise.
  2. Scoop out the centres on one side.
  3. Apply tomato ketchup on the inner side of the rolls.
  4. Lightly fry the tomato,onion, capsicum in butter.
  5. Add the potato,cheese and salt
  6. Cook the mixture for two mins.
  7. Then fill in the scooped portion of the rolls with the cooked vegetables.
  8. Close the rolls tightly.
  9. Allow them to bake at 200 deg farenhite in a preheated oven for 5/10 mins.
  10. Apply butter to the outside of the rolls while they are steaming hot.
  11. Finally pack them in a aluminium foil & serve hot with desired sauce/chutney.
