Tasty vegetable biriyani recipe offers a mouthwatering biryani or rice recipe with vegetables added to rice along with a spicy tomato puree and garam masala.Serve this simple and healthy vegetable rich rice preparation with raita as a main course.
- 1.fry onion in oil until soft, reserve half. add the turmeric, cardamon, garlic, cloves and garam masala. cook for 2-3 minutes.
- 2.rinse the rice and drain. fry in the pan for 5 minutes until it glistens.
- 3.add the vegetables and then pour in the stock, and bring to a boil. cover and simmer for 10-25 min., or until most of the liquid is absorbed.
- 4. add the panir, raisins and nuts. cover and cook for 5 more minutes. garnish with onion.
