Veg Keema recipe - How to make Veg Keema

100 gm soya flakes or chunks
1 tomato
3 to 4 green chillies
1 big onion
3 to 4 cloves of garlic (lehsun)
1 inch ginger piece
1/4 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 boiled egg
oil for cooking

  1. Soak soya in hot water for 10 min .add salt to water and boil in the same water for 10-15 min .
  2. For the gravy :
  3. Make a fine paste of onion, ginger ,garlic, chillies and coriander.
  4. Heat oil in a pan,add the paste to the oil and fry till gravy is fried and oil is released. add chopped or pureed tomato to the gravy and cook for 1-2 min. add salt,turmeric powder,chilli powder,garam masala and the cooked soya flakes/chunks. mix all ingredients and add 1/2 cup water and pressure cook for 1 whistle.cut the boiled egg into rings and
