1 cup rice (chawal)
1/3 cup toovar (arhar) dal
5 to 6 garlic (lehsun) pods
3 cups water
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste
4 to 5 fried green chillies
4 to 5 fried papads
fresh garlic tadka

  1. Soak rice & tuvardal in abowl for 1/2 hour
  2. Mix crushed garlic, salt, turmeric & cook on high for 10 minutes
  3. Give a standing time as per your convenience
  4. Mix the bpart with it and serve hot.
