  1. Soak vaal 1 full day
  2. Next day peel off the skin of vaal. (peeled skin vaal is ready available in market)
  3. Dice onions in stripes
  4. Cube potatoes
  5. Peel garlic and ginger and smash it
  6. In vessel take oil
  7. When heated put cumin seed,zeera and hing
  8. Put whole garam masalas
  9. Put ginger and garlic smahed
  10. Till little brown
  11. Put onions till golden brown
  12. Put potatoes
  13. Put all masalas
  14. (red chilli powder,dhania powder,haldi)
  15. Put rice and vaal (uncooked)
  16. Put salt to taste
  17. Pressure cooker it for 10 min
  18. Serve hot.
  19. Put onions
