An outstanding chutney or thokku recipe with tomatoes, the Tomato tokkku is typical to South Indian households and are best paired with rice or dosas.
- Grind red bell peppers and fresh long red chillies.
- Heat oil in a kadai. add tomatoes cover and cook for 5 mins. thenm add haldi, salt, sugar, red chilli pd and the ground paste.. let this cook ..till the water evaporates and the tomatoes become pulp like..if you need to store for a week or so.. add some more oil . and refridgerate. it tastes good with parathas, idlis, dosas and other snacks. very t
