- In a pan put turdal and allow it to cook.in a pan kept on fire add tamarind pulp,add turmeric powder,tomato pulp(take 4 tomatoes grind to a paste and add to the tamarind water which is kept on fire),add red chilly powder allow it to cook to 5mins.add the cooked dal.allow it to boil for another 5 mins.put jeera and pepper powder.salt to taste.in a k
