Bottle up the freshly prepared delicious Tomato jam and then you can use it for upto a month as a spread, accompaniment or cake topping.
- Blanch tomatoes. remove the skin. cut into half and remove seeds as much as u can.
- Lightly blend in a mixer or cut the flesh into small pieces.
- Keep a pan on the stove. add ghee. once ghee melts slowly add the tomato. stir. add sugar along. cook on a slow fire stirring often. when the
- Mixture thickens, put off the stove and squeeze in juice of lemon. mix well. cool it and then store this jam in glass containers. this stays good for nearly a year.
