Normally when you make a tomato bath, the skin of the tomatoes will come it is best to have it pureed. you can also use the readymade tomato puréed available. it makes an excellent lunch

2 cups long grained rice (basmati)
4 big and ripe tomatoes
4 onions , chopped
4 tsp oil
2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste
1/2 cup coconut milk

  1. Boil tomatoes, peel, and blend ina blender.
  2. Soak basmati rice in water and drain.
  3. Heat oil add jeera, saute the onions,
  4. add the 4 cups of tomato juice.
  5. Add chilli powder, coconut milk,salt, tumeric and the soaked basmati rice, keep on a low flame and cook till the bath is ready.
