Tofu Soup recipe - How to make Tofu Soup

1 cup chopped spinach (palak)
1/2 cup pinto beans
1 cup finely chopped onions
1 packet tofu (bean curd/ soya paneer)
1 clove of garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
2 green chillies
salt to taste
1 tsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)

  1. Cut t ofu into medium size cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan & season cumin seeds. add chopped onion, garlic and ginger, saute for a while.
  3. When onion becomes transparent add spinach, chilly and pinto beans to it and saute for a while. let it cool for a while.
  4. Grind them till coarse paste. pour the paste into the pan and add water to it.
  5. Now add the tofu pieces and allow it to cook.
  6. When the soup starts thicken,remove it from the heat.
  7. Serve hot.
