Tofu Shambharia recipe - How to make Tofu Shambharia

Small size Potatoes-4-5
Small size Onions-4-5
Big green chillis-2
Medium sized Tomatoes-4
Small Brinjal(optional)-4
Tofu(drain water)- 200gms
sprouted moong- 1 1/2 cup
Chiili powder- 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Dhanajira powder- 2 tsp
1 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1/2 tsp sugar
Besan(Gram)Flour-1/2 cup
chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
Oil- 2 tb sp
salt to taste
coriander (dhania) leaves for garnishing

  1. 1. in a bowl take tofu,sprouted moong and then add chilli powder,garam masala, dhana jira powder, ginger-garlic paste, sugar, besan, few chopped coriander leaves and salt to taste.
  2. 2. mix well, cut slit in all veg to stuff the stuffing.
  3. 3. stuff all vegetables with stuffing and boil them for 6-7 mins. take sambharia out and let it cool for few mins.
  4. 4. put oil in a pan and heat it.
  5. 5. season it with mustard and cumin seeds and when it starts popping add sambharia and saute it.
  6. 6. sambhria are ready. serve hot with parathas and green chutney.
