Croutons always make a serving of soup seem extra special! Not only that, it is also in vogue to serve croutons with a variety of dips as starters at parties . Croutons are also great additions to salads .
So, we step in, right in time, to show you how to make the perfect batch of Toasted Mini Croutons. Toasted in the oven, these croutons have an amazing crunch. Just ensure that you stir in between, or else they will get burnt on one side.
- Cut the bread slices into very small cubes.
- Place them on a baking tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200ºc (400ºf) for 12 minutes, while stirring it thrice in between using a flat spatula or till they turn crispy and light brown in colour from all the sides.
- Store in an air-tight container and use as required.
