Tasty Cheese Corn Balls recipe - How to make Tasty Cheese Corn Balls

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 8 to 10 balls

2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1 cup milk
salt to taste
3 tbsp butter
2 cubes of processed cheese , grated
2 tsp green chilli paste
1/2 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
3/4 cup cooked and mashed rice (chawal)
bread crumbs for frying
oil for deep frying
  1. Heat a non-stick pan, add the butter and plain flour and saute for 5 minutes.
  2. Once the color changes add the milk and salt and mix continuously so that no lumps remain.
  3. Once it becomes thick add the cheese, green chilli paste, corn, coriander and mashed rice and mix well.
  4. Remove from the flame and allow to cool.
  5. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape it into round balls.
  6. Roll them on breadcrumbs and deep fry till golden brown in colour from both the sides.
  7. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
