Tangy Tomato Rice recipe - How to make Tangy Tomato Rice

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds.
  2. Add bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon & green cardamom(crushed).
  3. When they turn slightly brown (after 3-4 secs), add the sliced onions and green chillies & saute till the onions turn translucent.
  4. Put in the ginger and garlic paste and fry well.
  5. Add the tomato puree and mix well.
  6. Add the coriander, and cumin powder.
  7. Fry well, till it loses all moisture and leaves a cooked aroma.
  8. Add the cooked rice, salt and sugar.
  9. Mix well and saute slightly being careful not to break the rice.
  10. Sprinkle dhania leaves cashew-nuts and raisins on top and serve hot.

The recipe gives a perfect taste and aroma. Very simple to make and my friends hogged on it. Follow the procedure blindly.
