Tangy Paneer recipe - How to make Tangy Paneer

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 3 to 4 servings

600 gms paneer (cottagte cheese) cubes
butter for cooking
1 tsp ginger (adrak)
100 gms tomato puree
1 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
salt to taste
1 cup water
red chilli powder to taste
2 green chillies for garnish
  1. Heat the butter in a deep pan and fry the paneer cubes till golden brown in colour from all the sides. Keep aside.
  2. Combine the remaining ingredients, except water, in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Add the fried paneer to this mixture and cook on a slow flame for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Add the water, mix well and cook on a slow flame for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Serve hot garnished with green chillies.
