Tomato Rice, a red colored delicious rice preparation with tomato puree as the base. The sweet and tangy tomato flavor embodies the pulao and tastes excellent when served with any vegetable or meat gravy.
- Heat oil in a cooker, when hot add rai. when splutters add jeera and sliced onion.
- Cook till transparent. then add slit green chilies, red chilli pd, dhaniya pd, haldi pd, biryani masala and cook for 2 mins.
- Then add tamato puree and again cook for 5 mins stirring continously.
- Then add abt 2 cups water and soaked rice and salt to taste.
