1 kg tomatoes
few curry leaves (kadi patta)
a small piece of ginger (adrak)
1/8 tsp asafoetida (hing)
16 pcs ladies finger (bhindi) (dont cut) deep fried
1 tsp chopped coriander (dhania)
5 tbsp besan (Bengal gram flour)
5 tbsp oil
5 to 6 pcs kokum

  1. Cook tomatoes in the pressure cooker and blend to make the puree.
  2. In a other pan (heavy bottem) heat oil, then put dana methi kari patta & hing and put besan , when besan change its colour become little redish than put red chilli- and than put tomato puree with 2 glass of water .
  3. Now add fried bhindi and kookam , let it boil for 10 min with covered lid or pressure cook (5 whistle)
  4. Finely put hara daniya and serve with rice and fried potatoes.
