Sweet Potato Salad With Custard Apple Dressing recipe - How to make Sweet Potato Salad With Custard Apple Dressing

1/2 cup boiled and chopped sweet potatoes
1 cup chopped spinach (palak)
1/2 cup chopped paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
1/2 cup chopped pineapple

To Be Mixed Together For The Dressing
1/2 cup custard apple (sitaphal) pulp
1/4 cup olive oil
a pinch salt
2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg (jaiphal) powder

For The Garnish
1 cup crushed corn flakes
a few basil leaves

To Serve
hot tomato soup with dill
  1. Combine all the salad ingredients in a deep bowl. Mix lightly.
  2. Pour dressing over the salad and toss well.
  3. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  4. Serve chilled and fresh with hot tomato soup lightly flavoured with finely chopped dill.
  5. Garnish the salad with fresh basil leaves and corn flakes to cover the salad completely.
  6. Serve fresh and warm on a cool rainy day.
