1 cup semolina (rava)
1 cup ghee
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 cups water
1 tbsp besan (Bengal gram flour)
a pinch turmeric powder (haldi) in sugar syrup
a few saffron (kesar) strands soaked if luke warm water

  1. Prepare sugar syrup when the sugar has melted put soaked sefrron and haldi.
  2. In a wok put melted ghee.
  3. Sieve suji and add to ghee. keep stirring it on medium heat.
  4. When the colour changes and the ghee comes up add besan to it and keep stirring.
  5. Now add sugar syrup by constantly stirring.leave it on high flame the ghee will come up leaving its sides.
