Presenting the hot , soft and low calorie Stuffed chutney idli recipe . the idlis are prepared with the idli batter dropped in the steamer and topped with a delectable green chutney before steaming. The stuffed chutney idli recipe brings a nice twist to the plain idli recipe and is best enjoyed hot as breakfast.
- Mix the rava in buttermilk, add some salt and put aside for 30mins.
- Grease the idli tray.
- Mix eno in the batter.
- Pour half the amount of idli in each mould, put some chutney in the middle, cover with some more batter.
- Steam like normal idlis.
- Hot, spicy, low cal idlis can be eaten on its own.
- P.s.: similarly any other chutney/sauce can be filled in. for e.g. try schezwan sauce, it gives brilliant chinese taste to the idlis
