Strawberry Phirnee recipe - How to make Strawberry Phirnee

1 ltr milk
4 tbsp strawberry crush
4 tbsp soaked rice (chawal)
1/2 cup sugar
a few drops vanilla essence
  1. Grind rice to a coarse paste.
  2. Bring milk to a boil, add the rice paste dissolved in a little water or cold milk and cook, stirring continuously, till rice is completely cooked and the mixture thickened.
  3. Add the sugar and cook till sugar is completely dissolved. Divide the mixture into two equal portions.
  4. Add the strawberry crush to one portion and vanilla essence to another part.
  5. Pour them into two separate piping bags.
  6. Place a small ring shaped mould in a ice-cream bowl.
  7. Pipe the strawberry mixture into ring.
  8. Remove the ring mould.
  9. Pipe the white mixture in the free space of bowl filling it completely .
  10. Chill in a refrigerator for an hour before serving.
  11. Garnish with sugar coated strawberry.
