Strawberry Bonaza recipe - How to make Strawberry Bonaza

Ingredients
2 cups chopped strawberries
2 1/2 cups rice (chawal)
2 1/2 cups milk
8 tbsp sugar
2 tsp strawberry crush
2 tbsp sliced almonds (badam)
Method
    Method
  1. Combine the strawberries with 2 tbsp sugar and cook till little pulpy. Allow to cool to room temperature.
  2. Add the strawberry crush and mix well. Keep aside in the fridge.
  3. Wash and soak the rice for ½ an hour. Drain and reserve.
  4. Boil milk add soaked rice and cook till little over cooked and thick.
  5. Stir in between to avoid sticking to the bottom of the pan. Add remaining sugar and cook for 2-4 minutes.
  6. Let cool to room temperature.

  1. Put 1-1 tbsp of strawberry mixture in 4 serving bowls and divide rice mixture on it.
  2. Top with remaining strawberry mixture.
  3. Sprinkle almond flakes on top.
  4. Chill for 1-11/2 hour in the fridge.
  5. Serve chilled.
