Spinach and Tomato Rice recipe - How to make Spinach and Tomato Rice

500 gms long grained rice (basmati)
3 1/2 water
1 tsp salt
4 slices of ginger (adrak)
300 gms chopped spinach (palak)
2 tomatoes , finely chopped
2 tbsp ghee
Dry roast the following and grind to a fine powder:
1/2 tsp black peppercorns (kalimirch)
1 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tbsp coriander (dhania) seeds

  1. Heat ghee and stir fry the ginger slices for a while and saute the rice for a while.
  2. Transfer all to the rice cooker and switch on.
