Spinach toast is an iron rich vegetable mixture recipe which is to be served with toasted breads. The spinach is stir fried in hot oil with onions and then mixed with milk and maida.

Ingredients

1 large bunch of spinach (palak)
1/4 cup spring onions
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1 cup milk for white sauce
salt to taste
black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
1 tsp tomato ketchup
a pinch of sugar
Method

  1. Cut spanich &spring onion in small piece.
  2. Put the kadhai on the gas.
  3. Put the butter than put the onion&spanich cook it on low flame.
  4. Than put the maida and sake it when it is light brown than put the milk and all interrigets and boil for a minute and surve with the roasted toast.
