A thick, creamy and delectable Spinach soup has spinach leaves which are boiled and then slenderized. Rich in iron, calcium and fiber, the spinach soup can be topped with fresh cream while serving.

1 bunch of spinach (palak)
1 " piece of ginger (adrak), chopped
1 tsp oil
1/2 cup curds (dahi)
3 tbsp cornflour
white pepper powder
salt to taste
lemon juice to taste
a pinch of nutmeg (jaiphal) powder
little water

  1. Cook in little oil ginger spinach and little water.
  2. Then cool it and grind it in mixer.
  3. Beat in 1/2cup yoghurt and cornflour.add it to the above paste.
  4. Add in white pepper,salt,lemon juice and pinch of nutmeg powder and bring to boil.
  5. Serve hot.
