An amazing blend of great taste, health benefits and flavors, Spinach dal is a dal recipe with a healthy twist. The dals are cooked with chopped spinach or palak leavers and then relished with roti.

Method


  1. Boil arhar dal in pressure cooker till soft.
  2. In the mean time, cut spinach into small pieces.
  3. Cut green chillis length-wise.
  4. Boil two cups of water in a kadai.
  5. Add spinach, green chillies and haldi to the water. boil till soft.
  6. Add tamarind juice and let boil.
  7. Mash the boiled arhar dal and add to kadai. add salt to taste.
  8. Dal should neither be uncooked or overcooked.

For seasoning

    For seasoning
  1. Take a small frying pan.
  2. Add cooking oil till hot. add rai, jeera and wait to flutter.
  3. Add hing and curry leaves.
  4. Put the seasoning to the dal.
  5. Voila !!!
  6. you are ready to eat a great dish with hot steaming rice and deshi ghee.
