This scrumptious accompaniment of crispy potato wedges with a generous sprinkling of cheese is sure to double the appeal of any burger. It takes a good lot of baking to ensure that the unpeeled potato wedges are crisped to perfection, but it is definitely worth the effort. What is more, a bouquet of unusual herbs like rosemary and oregano impart a rich and exotic feel that makes the spicy potato wedges all the more irresistible.
- Combine the potatoes, melted butter, olive oil, garlic, oregano, rosemary, pepper and salt in a bowl and toss till the mixture coats the potatoes evenly.
- Arrange the potatoes equally spaced on a baking tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 25 to 30 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked, while turning over the potatoes once in between after 10 to 12 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
