Spicy Egg Curry recipe - How to make Spicy Egg Curry

4 boiled eggs
1 cup roughly chopped onions
1/2 tbsp roughly chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp roughly chopped ginger (adrak)
1 tbsp roughly chopped green chillies
3 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 cup sliced onions
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
a pinch of turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
salt to taste

For The Garnish
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
  1. Peel the eggs, make vertical slits on them. Keep aside.
  2. Combine the roughly chopped onions, garlic, ginger and green chillies and blend in a mixer till smooth. Keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds.
  4. When the seeds crackle, add the sliced onions and sauté on a medium flame for 3 minutes.
  5. Add the tomatoes, mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  6. Add the prepared paste, turmeric powder, garam masala, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and 1 cup of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes ,while stirring occasionally.
  7. Add the boiled eggs, mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  8. Serve hot garnished with coriander.

This recipe was really good, the gravy was so spicy and yum and when combined with egg it was a superb recipe, I served this with nice crispy butter naan and my family enjoyed it.
