Ingredients

For the stewed pears
6 medium sized pears
7 tsp sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
2 cloves (laung / lavang)
Method
For the stewed pears

  1. Peel and slice the pears.
  2. Mix the sugar, lemon juice, cloves and 3/4 teacup of water.
  3. Add the pears and cook until soft.
  4. Cool.

How to proceed

  1. Put the stewed pears into individual bowls.
  2. Top with cold orange sauce and serve immediately.
