Spanish Rice Cake recipe - How to make Spanish Rice Cake

3 cups boiled rice (chawal)
1 medium sized carrot , boiled and cubed
10 french beans , cut into 1/2 inch strips
1 medium sized onion , chopped
1 medium sized tomato , chopped
3 fresh red chilli paste
1/4 cup beaten curds (dahi)
1/2 tsp garam masala
3 to 4 tbsp oil
salt to taste
  1. Heat the oil in a pan. Add onion and cook till light brown. Add red chilli paste, sauté it.
  2. Slowly add curd. Cook till water of curd evaporates. Add tomatoes, capsicum and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add masala, semi boiled carrots , French beans, salt and boiled rice. Cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Grease a jelly mould. Arrange tomato slices on all sides of the mould. Pack with rice. Cover with foil.
  5. Bake for 10 mins at 180 degree C.
  6. Unmould on plate and serve hot.
