Soya Chuny Pakodas recipe - How to make Soya Chuny Pakodas

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 servings


To Be Ground Into A Coarse Paste:
3 green chillies
8-10 garlic clove
1 tbsp coriander (dhania) seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tsp peppercorns (kalimirch)

Other Ingredients
40 gms boiled soya granules
1/4 cup chopped onions
2 tbsp chopped mint leaves (phudina)
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp ginger (adrak) paste
salt to taste
100 gms whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1 tbsp vegetable stock
water as required
oil for deep frying
  1. For the paste:
  2. Mix all the ingredients and grind to a coarse paste and keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Take a bowl and put boiled soya granules,onions,ginger paste,mint and coriander leaves,salt,wheat flour and prepared paste and mix well
  2. Mix all till it releases water.
  3. Then add vegetable stock and little water to make a thicker batter.
  4. Then make pakoras in hot oil till crisp and serve with tea.
