Soya Bean Falafel recipe - How to make Soya Bean Falafel

Ingredients
1 cup boiled soyabeans bean
few finely chopped coriander (dhania)
a few parsley sprigs
4 to 5 spring onions stalk
1 garlic clove
5 bread slices
a pinch baking soda
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
salt and freshly ground black pepper powder powder
1/2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
oil as required
Method
    Method
  1. Wash and soak Soya bean overnight. Drain and dry on a kitchen towel. Clean, wash and chop coriander leaves and parsley. Wash and chop spring onion greens. Peel, wash and chop garlic.
  2. Combine the Soya bean along with coriander leaves, parsley, spring onion greens, and garlic, crumbed bread slices and blend together in a mixer till grainy texture.
  3. Add a small pinch of soda bicarbonate, cumin powder and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Knead the mixture well and allow it to rest for a couple of hours. Take a portion of this mixture, flatten it slightly with fingers and place it on a greased tray. Brush with little oil. Bake till golden brown. Serve hot.
