Sooji Upma with Veggies recipe - How to make Sooji Upma with Veggies

For The Upma
1 cup semolina (rava)
salt to taste
3 green chillies , finely chopped
2 tsp oil

For The Vegetables Kebabs
8 capsicum cubes , 1" cubes
4 tomato cubes , seedless
8 paneer (cottagte cheese) cubes , 1"
oil for greasing
salt and freshly ground black pepper powder to taste
For the upma

    For the upma
  1. Heat 1/2 tsp oil in a pan and dry roast the semolina till it turns light pink in colour.
  2. Remove and heat the remaining oil in the same pan, add the green chillies and saute for 30 seconds.
  3. Meanwhile, bring 1 3/4 cup water to boil along with salt.
  4. Add the semolina to the pan and the boiling water and cook for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
  5. Keep aside.

  1. Arrange the vegetables alternatively in a skewer and sprinkle some salt and pepper.
  2. Drizzle some oil and grill in a griller till it turns crisp.

  2. Serve immediately.
