Sooji halwa is a North Indian sweet dish prepared from sooji ( rawa or semolina) sugar, ghee and spices like cardamom. A delicious dessert dish which can be served as a snack or after meal sweet!
- Fry the sooji in ghee till quite brown (for approx. 5-15 mts).
- Add water and sugar and keep stirring till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
- Finally add ilaichi and dry fruits and mix.
- Serve hot.
