Soang is a tangy potato curry recipe with potatoes cooked n tamarind water along with onion and whole spices. A perfect vegetable dish to be served hot with chapattis.

6 to 7 potatoes , boiled and cut into cubes
4 to 5 chopped onions
3 tbsp tamarind (imli) water
salt to taste
chilli powder to taste
water as required

  1. Heat oil add the onions & fry till brown then slow the gas
  2. Add red chill powder & tamirind juice 7 little water, simmer for 2mins
  3. Add the cubed potatoes & salt taste the seasoning
  4. Let simmer on low gas for 5min.
