Traditional mithais made healthier and tastier with this Simple kesar burfi recipe. The cream, saffron or kesar and sugar are mixed with milk powder and the cooked on low heat till semi thick. Add chopped heart friendly energy dense almonds in the mixture and then cut into small squares after it gets set in the fridge.
- Melt butter in a casserole. add the sugar and cream. stir and let all sugar be absorbed. stir in a few strands of kesar (saffron) as well as the chopped almonds. add the milkpowder gradually, and whip it all thorougly until semi-thick. take off casserole from stove. put bakingpaper on a big oven pan, and spread the burfi dough in the pan. put in re
