  1. Heat the ghee in a deep pan and add the cumin seeds.
  2. When the seeds crackle, add the onions and tomatoes and saute on a medium flame till the onions turn pink and soft.
  3. Add the capsicum, mix well and saute for more 2 minutes.
  4. Add the fenugreek leaves and peas and mix well.
  5. Add the curds and the garam masala, mix well and cook on a slow flame for 4 minutes.
  6. Add the rice and enough water to cover the rice, mix well and cover and cook on a slow flame till the rice gets cooked and there is no water left.
  7. Serve hot garnished with almonds.
