To Be Blended Into A Smooth Powder For The Dry Masala
4 cloves (laung / lavang)
7-8 peppercorns (kalimirch)
1/2 tsp coriander (dhania) seeds
4 tbsp melon seeds (charmagaz)
1/4 cup roasted sesame seeds (til)
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)

To Blended Into A Smooth Paste For The Wet Masala
1 chopped onion
1 chopped tomato
3-4 garlic clove
2 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
4 green chillies

Other Ingredients
12 to 13 boiled baby potatoes
salt to taste
4 tbsp curds (dahi)
oil for deep frying
3 tsp roasted sesame seeds (til)
3 tsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
  1. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry boiled baby potatoes until golden brown ad crisp from all the sides. Drain and keep aside.
  2. Take 3 tbsp of oil and heat it up and sauté the wet masala for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the dry masala and sauté till oil leaves from the sides of the pan.
  4. Add the curds ,salt and baby potatoes, mix well and garnish with roasted sesame seeds and coriander.
  5. Serve hot.
