Semolina Toast recipe - How to make Semolina Toast

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 toasts

4 slices of bread
2 tomatoes , finely chopped
1 onion , finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh cream
3 tbsp semolina (rava)
1 tsp chopped green chillies
2 tsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2vtsp chaat masala
salt to taste
ghee for cooking
  1. Combine the tomatoes, onion, green chiiles, coriander, cumin seeds, chaat masala, red chilli powder, salt, garam masala in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Add the fresh cream and semolina and mix well.
  3. Spread the mixture on a bread slice and sprinkle some dry semolina on it.
  4. Heat a non-stick tava, grease it little ghee and place the bread slice with semolina facing downwards.
  5. Apply ghee and cook it from both sides.
  6. Serve hot with coriander chutney or tomato sauce.
