Sayal Roti recipe - How to make Sayal Roti

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 2 servings

6 leftover rotis
2 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
3 tomatoes , finely chopped
1 tsp chopped garlic (lehsun) and
1 green chillies , finely chopped
1 tbsp coriander (dhania) leaves
1/2 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste
  1. Break the roti in small pieces and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in kadhai and add the mustard seeds.
  3. When the seeds crackle, add the garlic and green chillies and saute for few seconds.
  4. Add the tomates and all the remaining ingredients, mix well and cook till the tomatoes are soft.
  5. Add 1 cup of water and bring it to boil
  6. Add the rotis, mix well and cover and cook till the water dries up and rotis get little soft.
  7. Serve hot garnish with lime and coriander leaves.
