Sambher Idli with Coconut Chutney recipe - How to make Sambher Idli with Coconut Chutney

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 2 to 3 servings

For The Idli
2 cups semolina (rava) or
1/2 cup of rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 tsp powdered fenugreek (methi) leaves
1/2 cup curds (dahi)
2 tsp sambhar masala
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 sachet fruit salt
salt to taste
  1. Combine all ingredients except fruit salt and mix well.Keep aside for 30 mins.
  2. Add fruit salt and mix gently.
  3. Immediately pour the idli batter in greased idli moulds and steam for 15 minutes.
  4. Serve with coconut chutney.
