Ingredients
Method

  1. Preasure cook toor dhal and keep aside. see its not mashed.
  2. Heat oil in a heavy based pan
  3. Add ustard seed, saunf, curry leaves and j
  4. Hing.
  5. When the seeds splutter add finely chopped onion along crushed garlic.
  6. Fry till the onion is soft.
  7. Now add tomatos and fry .
  8. Add red chilli powder, haldi and salt and 1/2 cup water.
  9. Close the lid and boil for 5 min , thill the tomatoes are soft and ash tomatoes.
  10. Now add tamrind water and allow it boil for 2 min.
  11. Add cooked dhal and boil for another 5-7 min .
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves.
