1 ltr milk
1 cup sugar
2 tsp full rose water
a few saffron (kesar) strands
1/4 tsp citric acid
a few rose petals for decoration

  1. Boil full milk.
  2. Mix citric acid in 1/4th cup water.
  3. Remove milk from heat and mix citric acid & water mixture to curdle milk.
  4. Cool it for 5 minutes.
  5. Drain the water from curdle milk and put in a vessel.
  6. Mix sugar,rose water and safron.
  7. Mix well till sugar dilutes.
  8. Keep in a freezer for 10/15 minutes.
  9. Serve cold in a small bowl &
  10. Put a rose leaf on the top.
  11. Sundesh is ready to serve.
