To Be Mixed Together and Grounded Into A Paste
2 to 3 garlic (lehsun) cloves
1 small piece of ginger , chopped
3 to 4 green chillies , chopped
15 cashewnuts (kaju)

Other Ingredients
1 cup long grained cooked rice (basmati rice)
1/2 cup chopped onions
8 to 10 raisins (kismis)
3 to 4 cloves (laung / lavang)
1 bayleaf (tejpatta)
1 cinnamon (dalchini) stick
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
salt to taste
ghee for cooking
  1. Heat 4 tsp of ghee in a deep pan and add the cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick,bay leaf and onions, mix well and saute on a medium flame till the onion turns transperant.
  2. Add the prepared paste, raisins, salt, garam masala, sugar and cardamon powder and mix well.
  3. Add the cooked rice and mix well.
  4. Serve hot.
