    Method
  1. Heat the ghee in a kadhai and add the mustard seeds, urad dal and cumin seeds.
  2. When the seeds crackle, add the asafoetida and the vegetables, mix well and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients, mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the rice, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
