1 cup semolina (rava)
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup ghee

  1. Heat ghee &fry cashew till golden colour and keep it aside.
  2. Add rawa to the same ghee &fry till it changes to light red colour.
  3. Boil water &add it to the rawa,let it cook on low flame.
  4. Add sugar,saffron &cook till it leaves the side of the pan. (white froths will appear when stirred)
  5. Add cardamom and serve.
  6. It can also be poured into greased tray, cut into pieces and served.
