Rava Rice Tikki recipe - How to make Rava Rice Tikki

1 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1/2 cup semolina (rava)
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 green chillies , finely chopped
5 to 6 curry leaves (kadi patta) , chopped
salt to taste
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1 cup fresh curds (dahi)
oil for deep frying
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well and knead into a soft dough. Keep aside for 10 mins.
  2. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion into 2" diameter tikkis.
  3. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry each tikki till golden brown in colour from the sides.
  4. Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
