Quick Cottage Cheese Bites recipe - How to make Quick Cottage Cheese Bites

For The Batter
2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1/2 tbsp crushed garlic (lehsun)
1/3 cup water (approx)
1/8 tsp red colour
salt to taste

For The Coating
1/3 cup bread crumbs
1 tbsp sesame seeds (til)
1 tsp semolina (rava)
200 gms paneer (cottage cheese)
1 tsp chaat masala
oil for deep frying

tomato ketchup

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl, mix well and keep aside.

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a flat plate, mix well and keep aside.

How to Proceed

  1. Cut the paneer into 1/4 inch thick , triangular pieces. Spread little chaat masala, mix well.
  2. Dip the paneer pieces in the batter.
  3. Remove from batter and toss in the coating mixture and coat the paneer pieces from all the side.
  4. Heat the oil in kadhai and deep-fry the paneer pieces, one at a time and fry till it turnss to golden brown and crisp.
  5. Drain on paper napkins to absorb excess oil.
  6. Repeat the same process for the remaining ingredients.
  7. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
