Pumpkin Sandwich recipe - How to make Pumpkin Sandwich

3/4 cup grated and roasted pumpkin
4 tsp honey
4 tsp white butter
1/4 tsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder
4 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp ginger (adrak) powder
2 tbsp finely chopped basil
1/2 cup sliced tomatoes
3 to 4 cabbage leaves
6 slices multi grain bread
4 tbsp olive oil

To Be Mixed Together For The Salad
1/4 cup chopped paneer (cottage cheese)
1/4 cup chopped canned pineapple
1/4 cup chopped cucumber
1 tbsp chopped basil
salt and freshly ground black pepper powder to taste
  1. Ina deep bowl, combine the pumpkin, basil, sugar, ginger powder and cinnamon powder and mix well. Keep aside.
  2. Roast bread slices using olive oil untill brown and crisp and keep aside.
  3. Apply a layer of honey and white butter to all slices and place them on a clean and dry surface.
  4. Place a cabbage leaf on one slice, buttered side facing upwards.
  5. Spread a pumpkin layer on top and cover with another bread slice, buttered side facing downwards.
  6. Place some more tomato and cabbage leaves and sprinkle some salt and pepper on it.
  7. Cover it with third slice and cut into four pieces.
  8. Serve immediately garnished with salad.
